In view of the current Covid-19 outbreak, all appointments will now be via telephone/video consultations only. Please call the surgery from 8.30am to book a telephone appointment. Following your telephone/video consultation, the doctor may invite you (if appropriate) to be examined at the Practice.
Please do not attend the Practice and wait for an appointment without being advised to do so by a clinician otherwise you will just be sent home. Also, please do not hand in any specimen samples or e-mail the practice without speaking to reception staff first.
If you have a pre-booked appointment at the practice, you will be asked a series of COVID related questions before entering the premises. Please be aware this will only take a couple of minutes and this is to ensure your safety and safety to others.
Consultations are by appointment only. Appointment times are between:

The normal consultation time per appointment is 10 minutes. Some appointments may require a double appointment, therefore please assist the receptionist if she asks the nature of your appointment. Patients are able to consult with any of the doctors in the Practice.
Non-urgent appointments will normally be given within two working days with any doctor. Routine appointments with a specific doctor may not always be possible on the day. Urgent appointments will be dealt with on the same day by the doctor on call.

The Practice has installed a patient operated self check-in system.
CCTV camera are in operation in the reception area.
The extended hours clinic is currently suspended due to the pandemic.
The doctors are available for telephone consultations daily. Please ask the receptionist who will advise you when to phone.
General medical advice is available 24 hours per day via NHS 24 by dialling 111. This call is free.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
We all have bad days, and when we feel ill we may feel 'down' and a little more irritable than normal. All our staff are here to help you. Reception staff are following procedures that help the practice to function efficiently. Staff have the right to work in a safe and secure environment and we, as employers, have the legal responsibility to provide that safe and secure environment.
The practice will not tolerate:
- Verbal abuse to staff which prevents them from doing their job or makes them feel unsafe.
- Threats of violence or actual violence to a GP or a member of his or her staff.
The GPs have the right to remove from their list with immediate effect any patient who behaves in the above manner.
