Our Practice Nurses work with the Doctors undertaking investigations and treatments and are trained in health education, well woman, disease prevention, management of chronic illness such as asthma and diabetes.
Both Sister Brenda McLaren and Sister Carol Levy are Nurse Practitioners and can issue prescriptions for minor illness.

Our Health Care Assistant is also our Secretary and before has been fully trained in the areas of taking blood, measuring blood pressures, height and weight and checking urine samples.

RECEPTION STAFF
Our Reception Team comprises Helen Sherry, Jane MacDonald, Moira Whitelaw, Jan Watson, Sheila Speirs and Leanne Halpin. They will offer you every help and assistance during opening hours.
CCTV cameras are in operation in the reception area.
The Practice has installed a patient operated self checking-in system.

HEALTH VISITOR
The Health Visitor is able to provide information, advice and support to families of young children. She can be contacted by telephoning 0141 232 4820.
COMMUNITY MIDWIVES
The Community Midwives currently provide care for mothers before delivery and until their newborn baby is two weeks old. They can be contacted on 0141 232 9456. To arrange a midwife appointment telephone 0141 232 9470.
OTHER MEMBERS OF THE HEALTH CARE TEAM
The Community Psychiatric Nurses offer help in the community to patients with mental health problems.
